@yakuzadojo and @nequientchicago are bringing the HEAVINESS to Barrel Society’s Alley Sessions on Sat. 6/15 at 7pm! This show has literally been FOUR YEARS in the making. Between Covid, rigorous touring schedules, and well, LIFE, it was starting to seem like the gig would never happen. But here it is, two months away!
Hailing from Chicago, Yakuza have been meticulously crafting their avant-garde metal since 1999. Many of you may very well remember when Yakuza front man, Bruce Lamont, graced us with a live stream Covid era solo performance at Barrel Society in May of 2020. Also joining us from Chicago are death metal stalwarts, Nequient! Formed in 2012, Nequient fuses classic death metal with fierce technicality and hardcore brutality. Check out their newest album “Darker Than Death or Night”. 🤘🏻
