Hailing from the banks of the Genesee River in Rochester, New York, Hermit Knight brings fantasy, chivalry, and emotion to each and every composition. Manifesting antique atmospheres and soothing leads for wonderfully evocative soundscapes that carry listeners through a swath of nostalgia, Hermit Knight’s “emotional fantasy synth” draws from both the real and the fantastical, fusing human emotion with lore and legend. Hermit Knight is no stranger to the stage, having just played the Texas Dungeon Siege and (soon) the Great Lakes Dungeon Siege, and promises a performance for the ages.

Hermit Knight has been deeply involved in the dungeon synth scene; the project’s founder and creator Nicholas the Gnome runs WereGnome Records and books local dungeon synth shows in and around Rochester.

One half of the mighty duo Sombre Arcane, Phranick comes to Chicago from Worcester, MA.

An offering to the altar of life and death, Alkilith and Nightshade join forces in Mors Vitaque: a project that conceptually deals with existence’s cyclical nature. We are born, we die, and we are born again as these two dungeon synth artists explore the dynamics of the life cycle. Brought forth by the minds behind Alkilith, Hyacinth, Amaranth, Shelter, and Nightshade, who are also the founders of the Great Lakes Dungeon Synth circle, Mors Vitaque‘s beauty and misery is both a celebration of life and the mourning of what follows.
