- Deep Purple: He is perhaps most famous for his tenure as the bassist and co-lead vocalist for Deep Purple (Mark III and IV) from 1973 to 1976, contributing to classic albums like Burn and Stormbringer.
- Early Career: Before Deep Purple, he was the bassist and lead vocalist for the band Trapeze.
- Black Sabbath: He also briefly served as the vocalist for Black Sabbath on the album Seventh Star.
- Supergroup Work: Hughes is a founding member of the supergroup Black Country Communion with Joe Bonamassa, Jason Bonham, and Derek Sherinian, and he has also been the lead singer and bassist for The Dead Daisies.
- Solo Work: He maintains an active and prolific solo career, blending hard rock, funk, and soul. His solo albums include Play Me Out (1977), Resonate (2016), and the upcoming Chosen (2025).
His influential career has cemented his place as one of the most respected and versatile vocalists in rock history.
Enuff Z’nuff is a living, breathing example of what a rock/ pop group should be. The band was formed in 1984 in Blue Island, Illinois. Its first release, “Fingers On It,” gave the band some initial recognition when the track was featured in the 1986 cult movie Henry: Portrait of a Serial Killer. By 1989, original members, Chip Z’Nuff and Donnie Vie were joined by guitarist Derek Frigo and drummer Vikki Foxx. Two HIT singles changed the course of the band’s history, ‘New Thing’ and ‘Fly High Michelle.’ Both songs were played constantly on the radio and gained heavy rotation on MTV spending over 60 weeks in the top 10, and they’re still playing these songs today!
Dead Groove is a Rock & Roll band based in Los Angeles, CA. Founded in 2020 by Fred Aching & Holly West, with Peruvian guitarist and producer Cesar Salaverry. Band members include: Holly West – Bass and Vocals – Known for being the bassist of the California based all-female Led Zeppelin tribute Zepparella. Fred Aching – Drums – Known for touring internationally with huge acts like, POWERFLO with Sen Dog from CypressHill, BillyBio, Bulletboys, and Kings Of Thrash with former Megadeath members and more. Cesar Salaverry – Guitars – Known for his vocal coaching on The Voice Peru and guitarist of largely popular touring rock band, Mauser of Peru.
