$5 Suggested Donation
As a non-profit organization, Side Street Studio Arts does not charge a required admission fee to attend our events. We simply request that you consider a suggested donation. This means that you do not have to pay to enjoy the art, artists, and atmosphere of Side Street Studio Arts. However, over half of our small budget comes from your suggested donations, which cover our rent, utilities, marketing, space maintenance, and so on. Just as importantly, a portion of your suggested donation goes directly to the artists you are here to enjoy. #supportlocalart

Mountain King Music Collective is a multi-faceted group of young individuals looking to create a better, more inclusive music scene in Elgin. We are working hard to create in order to help the scene thrive and live vicariously through teens and 20-Somethings alike. Our goal as a collective is to get more people, such as you, the reader, involved with the scene as a whole. That could be by way of writing, making art, taking pictures, printing merchandise, volunteering at shows as well as many other things that come with being a fully equipped DIY.
Mountain King Music Collective strives to create a scene for artists of all kinds, run by the very artists that live within. We hope you’ll join us on this endeavor.
