  (Iron Maiden Tribute)\n\n\nFrom concept to reality\, Maiden Chicago had 
 themselves a substantially powerful core group of musicians in an amazingl
 y short period of time. The instrumental pieces were assembled and solidif
 ied little more than a month after the initial idea was presented. Transpi
 ring as if the effort was guided by divine direction\, every step of the f
 ormation process was natural\, yielding the most ideal outcome at every tu
 rn.\nMotivated to contribute his efforts to a legitimate Iron Maiden tribu
 te\, singer/guitarist Eric Babcock posted an inquiry on the official Iron 
 Maiden Fan Club forum attempting to gauge potential interest. Eric joined 
 forces with bass player Gary Ingram as a result of that inquiry in early S
 eptember of 2010. Initially\, Gary was not sold on the idea of doing anoth
 er Maiden tribute\, but eventually jumped in with both feet and became esp

 te Band\n\nHailing from the Northwest Suburbs of Chicago DOWN/POUR has bee
 n rocking venues\, festivals and private parties for the past 20+ years! D
 OWN/POUR is Chicago’s Premier AC/DC Concert Experience . In 2008\, we we
 re asked by the folks at ACDC.com to submit a video for the #ACDCgiveitall
 yougot campaign promoting the new AC/DC album Black Ice. The video was fea
 tured on ACDC.com. We’ve also been fortunate to be featured on two Volta
 ge Overload: A Tribute to AC/DC albums\, which highlights some of the best
  AC/DC tribute acts across the country.\n\nDOWN/POUR plays through equipme
 nt very similar to AC/DC\, which helps us get that authentic AC/DC tone. A
  1971 Marshall Superlead and a 1973 Marshall Superbass are used for our ou
 tdoor shows while we tame down\, ever so slightly\, with a late 60’s spe
 c. hand built Marshall JTM45 and JTM50 clones for our inside shows. Plugge
