The Gasthaus is a great neighborhood bar in Elgin, featuring live music every weekend. The kind of bar that will remember your name if you come in more than twice!
The band room has been remodeled and opened up, new bathrooms installed, the kitchen was remodeled & the menu updated, the decor brought into this decade, but we haven't lost our small bar feel.
We kept the murals, Das Boot, restored the original tin ceilings, and upgraded our liquor offering. We like to think we're updated with touches of nostalgia! Visit our Whiskey Bar for quiet times, play PS3 or Guitar Hero, watch one of our 6 flat screen TVs, or just rock the juke box.
Specials: Monday-- $5.99 blackened chix wrap or sandwich & fries plus $1 12oz. Budlite, Budweiser or Labatt blue drafts!
Tuesday-- $2 5oz burger & fries plus $2 Shock Top, Bud, Budlight, Busch light & Labatt Blue drafts!
Wednesday-- $1.50 cheese fries or $4.50 giant nachos or $5.00 italian cheese bread + $1 drafts!
Thursday-- $5.00 Chicken Cordon Bleu- $1 12oz. Labatt or Budlite, or Budweiser drafts & $4.00 Fat tire bottles & $4 mini pitchers!
Friday- Live Music!!
Saturday-- $6.00 cheese pizza $.50 for each topping +Live Music!
Sunday-- $.75 Jumbo wings (min.5 per order)
