Metal Mondays at the LiveWire Lounge presents another monthly installment of, KILLANTHROPY: An evening of Heavy Metal Music for a philanthropic benefit.

This month’s cause: Chicago’s own Lurie Children’s Hospital!

Lurie Children’s Hospital is ranked the 7th best children’s hospital in the United States. LCH also was also awarded the honor roll designation by U.S. News & World Report Rankings for scoring in the top 10% in at least three specialties. They were one of 10 hospitals in the country to be given this special designation.

So come lend a hand in furthering the cause, comfort, and resources that LCH has to offer!

Throughout the course of the evening, heavy metal DJ’s Dr. Hank Pearl and CarrieMonster will be playing their favorite headbanging jams and taking your requests.

So what can you do?
1) Show the fuck up. Bring a friend.
2) Grab a beer.
3) Bang your head.
4) Give a small cash donation of your allotment in the designated buckets along with your song requests. All donations go to the LCH.
5) Want to donate something of use? Please see the link(*) below for details of what donations LCH will gladly accept and in what condition.

We’ll see you Monday night! \m/ (^_^) \m/
