What started in Germany inside an abandoned schoolhouse in the year 1971, has now evolved into an uncontrollable mythical beast of ambient and industrial art-rock. FAUST carries itself with a strong fixation on whirling chaos, having a successful worldwide career built around their industrial sound inferno. On their first three albums in the early 1970s, they inhabited the vast field from improvisation to bricolage to rock’n’roll with the ease of rogues and the determination of declared sonic renegades. Nearly five decades later and we still find FAUST with the same kind of raw enthusiasm towards fresh ingenuity all conjured by the band’s enlightened dilettantism.

The talented celestial collective SPIRAL GALAXY brings forth self-proclaimed “devotional voyages” to the airwaves using a plethora of instrumentation. Everything from sitar, drones, drum machines, flute, guitar and other sonically enchanting tools are used to masterfully salute the vibes of cosmonauts like CLUSTER, YATHA SIDHRA, and early KRAFTWERK. Members include SARA GOSSETT on cosmic flute and acclaimed Chicago performer PLASTIC CRIMEWAVE on space guitar. This show will feature HANDS OF HYDRA on sitar, guitar and sax.
