Sinful Lilly
RKY’S guitar-driven, alternative hard rock band Sinful Lilly is not your same ole modern rock band rehashing the same songs in order to make a buck. Their passion, desire and hardworking attitude delivers an unrivaled high energy punch in the face show. Their gritty vocals and melodic hooks smashed with the heavy rhythmic undertones will never go out of style regardless of the current trend or fashion of the day.
Sinful Lilly is currently working on their debut release “Moment of Clarity” (Jettlane Records). The songs on this release cover a range of emotions. “Truth or Consequences” leads off the release with an upbeat energetic chorus that pulls you in and never lets you go, kind of what the song is about ….making choices and living with the paths you have chosen. “Guilty” a modern rocker with a little sarcasm in the lyrics which plays on some of our worlds greatest pleasures…..lighten up it’s only rock n’ roll and we like it. “Down Inside” a darker tune with a melodic interlude about dealing with abuse but not all is lost there is light at the end of the tunnel…. sometimes it an escape and sometimes it’s a freight train headed your way…. It’s all about perspective. “Hero” one of the more intricate unrelenting songs which deals with the wages of war and the scars that are left on the soldiers and family’s that are involved….inspiration for this song came from a conversation that Sinful Lilly’s singer had with his grandfather who was a WWII decorated vet. ”Crack In My Heart” a unique acoustic song with industrial overtones that carry this composition to somewhere completely different but yet so familiar. With positive lyrics that deal with a struggling relationship, the lyrics try to put perspective on their issues relating them to the seasons….stating that we are only human and as long as the people in this relationship is striving for the same goal…. stop worrying about what might go wrong and enjoy the moments that you have together before they disappear. This is just a glimpse into Sinful Lilly’s debut release to show you the diversity of the band….but make no mistake every song on this release is a keeper and has that Sinful Lilly sound.
