Draconis arose in late 1995 summoned by Mike Pardi (guitars/vocals) and Gary Miranda (bass). Draconis immediately claimed many lives in it’s early years; destroying many peoples futures and hopes of becoming a part of the Black Horde of Blasphemy. In 1997 on a maelstrom of hate and fury, Draconis claimed allegiance with Dark Realm Records (owned and operated by the legendary SADISTIC INTENT) and spawned their awaited debut, “Overlords of the Greying Dawn.” Battles soon took place in which fans of the Black Horde could witness Draconis in a live setting with other acts such as, Stormbringer, Incantation, Sadistic Intent, Impaled Nazarene, Dark Funeral, Deicide and Mayhem. Legions of members attempted to tame Draconis but eventually became fitting sacrifices to the dragon. Ariel Alvarado pledged his soul to the Horde in 1998 and was secured among the ranks of the battalion. In 1999 Draconis paid tribute to the cults of Slayer, Destruction, Morbid Angel and Possessed by hailing anthems in their honor. Soon after, Draconis would self-proclaim, “The Highest of All Dark Powers.” Dark humanoids reveled in this statement against humankind and awaited more darkness and hate from the beast… Following an extended hiatus, Draconis released “The Cult of the Dragon”, a widely respected stand-alone release, showcasing the dragon’s ascent to full domination and mastery of their craft. With new material currently in the works (2014) expect future anthems of blasphemy tantamount to perfection
