***ALERT***
Don’t wear anything loose or get on the karts with loose clothing. If your clothing gets caught in a chain or around a go kart pedal, you’ll be in real danger of injury or worse. Minimal costume, or don’t ride a go kart with your costume on if you insist on wearing a big or loose costume. Non-protective shoes such as flip flops or sandals would also be a danger. Use good common sense when considering attire and/or safety equipment before riding a go kart.

***NOTICE***
These karts are kinda ghetto, much like the track, so ENTER AT YOUR OWN RISK. They run and are fairly safe if you use caution and listen about the particulars of your kart. I ACCEPT NO LIABILITY as I cannot control much beyond getting the things running. I am not a licensed or insured go kart facility. I have no training or safety equipment beyond what is donated. If you come out for karting, you accept full responsibility for your own safety. They are go karts. They are as dangerous as any go kart, possibly more. If you don’t feel safe with the kart you’ve chosen, try another or rethink your options. They have brakes, but these things move pretty fast. You’re more than welcome to go slow and take it easy and be super safe, or just hang out and grill food. Bring a helmet or goggles for protection if you can. We don’t have any safety equipment beyond what is donated. You’re just borrowing someone’s kart at your own risk. Listen to particulars about your kart and make sure you check in and talk to a guide before running the karts. They have kill switches in case of emergency or any type of failure. Sorry, I have to say all this. It’s not as scary as it sounds here if you think about what you’re doing and what you can handle. It’s pretty fun, even if you just put around. Rock!

If you agree to attend this event, you agree you have read the above notice about the karts and the alert regarding costumes and go karting. Again, ENTER AT YOUR OWN RISK. We cannot accept responsiblity or liability, as you are your own guide to examine the karts and the conditions around you and you are responsible for examining and making good use of the safety equipment available to be loaned to you. Please, ask someone about the particulars of the karts and the availabe safety equipment, or just don’t ride and keep out of the kart area if you don’t feel safe.

*** This is a LEAVE NO TRACE event***

Please help protect the event by bringing a bag for your trash. Fireworks and BBQs create a lot of waste, pitch in and pick up. Respect the community and take an extra bag of trash home with you.
