DEZORAH is a post progressive band from McAllen, TX. Formed in 2014 by guitarist Eric Martinez and vocalist Danica Salazar, the duo joined forces shortly after with drummer Trey Puga, bassist Daven Martinez and guitarist Jonathan Garza to released their first EP in 2016 titled Tierra Eterna.

In the years to come, the bands musical style has evolved to feature aggressive, charging drums and bass, distorted and melodic guitars and a blend of gloomy and eager vocal melodies that reflect high energy and burying anxiety. These elements and more are explored in the bands upcoming sophomore release titled Creando Azul. The five song EP was produced and mixed by Audio Engineer Alex Bhore at Elmwood Studio in Dallas, TX and mastered by Mastering Engineer Sarah Register in New York, NY. Creando Azul is scheduled for release in May 2018 followed by extensive touring both regionally and nationally.

A Deer A Horse

Rooted in Brooklyn’s DIY scene and inspired by the chaos of New York City, A Deer A Horse has grown into a relentless touring act over the years, clocking in over 200 shows across the country, and garnering a nod by Audiofemme as one of the hardest working touring bands in the US. Formed by college classmates Rebecca Satellite (vocals/guitar) and Angela Phillips (bass/vocals), the band came into its own with the addition of drummer Dylan Teggart, as the thundering rhythm section began to channel the weight of their lyrical content.Their 2017 EP, Backswimmer, drew praise from the AV Club, which compared the unlikely marriage of doom metal dirges with vocal earworms to “the Melvins turning in a pop song, finding ways to keep a hook running through a song that’s otherwise grim and sludgy.”

The album captures the band in their most primal form, a collection of songs with pounding rhythms, enormous riffs and inescapable melodies. In 2018, A Deer A Horse released singles “Cold Shoulder” and “Double Wide”, recorded at Silver Cord Studio, home-base of French metal pioneers, Gojira. The band is showing no signs of letting up their heavy touring schedule, and are in post-production on their as-yet-unannounced album.

DEN

Noise rock for noise heads, Den offers shrill electronic abrasion, yet trades the formless distortion pedal army for structured heft, lifeless landscapes, Black Sabbath, and Jupiter. Nuclear winter jams for seedy space dives.
